The world´s biggest design focused innovation event now also online! Come and join the Global Service Jam on 7th to 9th of August.

Are you ready to invest 48 hours on learning, having fun and gaining new
friends? Are you ready to try something new, do something that matters
and change the world. You can have all this by joining The Global
Service Jam -family.

what?

Service Jam is an collaborative event for people who are interested in service design – creative and design-based approach to problem solving. The purpose of the event is to encourage people with different backgrounds to innovate and experimentate together – so please don’t bring a idea or a team with you!

Global Service Jam is going to be held internationally at the same weekend. All local results are published at a same platform. The theme or topic of Global Service Jam will be announced for participants on Friday at 18:30 (local time) and all the results will be shared on Sunday at 14:00.

why?

Are you already an experienced designer? Are you completely new in the service design field? Or just interested in problem solving, innovating or design thinking? Either or, the Service Jam Tampere is for you! The weekend is all about learning more about service design and meeting lots of interesting people while working hard for the solution that may have real business potential. Your work and thoughts will be reviewed by other people and presented to the world where potential customer or employers can see them in real. In any case you’ll have a fun and get to know people with same interests.

Warm up - What is Service Design?

If service design and design thinking are unfamiliar to you, don´t worry! Join us on Thursday evening for a warm up -event to the Jam kindly hosted by Vincit.

Vincit´s designers Jarno Ojala and Pirkka Rannikko will guide us through the design process. We will hear what service design is all about and tune our minds to design thinking with some practical excercises.

If you are unable to attend, don´t sweat it! You will learn everything through practice while jamming and our mentors will be there to guide you during the weekend.
